Studio crew and roles

Camera ops- To get shots and offer differences shots to the director.
For a good camera op needs to understand shots,offer up shots, Concentration on veiwfinder and listerning to director. Be able to anticipate shots and know the space around the camera. Also being aware that the tally light isn't on.

Sound ops- Check the mics work and make sure all the talent have the same level of there voices.
A good sound op needs to be able to have good concentration, quick on the fades, listern to director, check mics work and able to watch the sound levels dont go to high. The sound ops will spend most of the time on the sound desk so they will have to check the talents mics are the same level the whole way through.

VX- Be able to change the picture by using the vx and able to use it quickly.
For a good VX needs to focus, watch monitors, listern to director quick resopone, familiar with the gear and understand terminology. The vision mixers main job is to keep the action online at all times with directions from the director.

FM- To be able to communicate from the directer to the studio crew and talent. Tell what is happen from the vx room and audio room to studio and be a good and clear commuicater to them. Also needs to talk to the audience and breif them on whats going to happen.
FM needs to be aware, problem solver, good commuicator and good leadership.

AFM- Help the FM

Directer- They are the most important part of a live TV event as they lead the whole show. Asking for shots that they what and tell the vx what no. camera they will be going to.
A good director has a clear voice,needs to have a good understanding with the crew, watch all monitors, good clear instructions, creative and be able to think one step a head.
